Most of us know that it’s an amazing opportunity to be able to be involved in an OPEEP class. But how can students best highlight and share about their unique experience when applying for jobs and internships?
To help students answer this question with confidence, OPEEP held a Professional & Job Skills Workshop event on January 23rd.
With support from Arts and Sciences Career Services, OPEEP Education Specialist Tori Parker Lewis led two sessions for current and former members of OPEEP courses. Students discussed their experiences with OPEEP, matched their encounters up with action verbs for their resumes, and practiced answering interview questions. Attendees reported that it was helpful – especially because they collaborated with each other to describe what was so unique about the OPEEP classes that they took.
